We invite you to attend the AST Mentorship training to learn how to be a mentor and positively impact the foster youth in the community. Our 2- hour mentorship training provides you with effective tools and knowledge to become a mentor and how to work with foster youth. You will learn the basics of foster care, how AST Mentoring works and the role you will play in each of these youth's lives. In addition, you will be taught how to work with children who come from traumatic family situations and how you can make a difference in their lives.
Becoming a mentor is more than mentoring, it is about being the voice of a child who can't speak up. As a mentor, you are not only the person foster youth can trust and confide in, but you are the one who helps make their journey in foster care a little easier.
Are you ready to make a difference?
